    Here's a question for ya regarding a car i just finished bagging. I daily my car all spring, summer, and fall, but I park it in the winter. When it's parked for cold months, what is the best practice to prep and store it? Should I store it aired up, aired out, do I need to flush the system? I know I have to prep my sprinker system, and would love to know if my car is the same way.

    Hi I’m on airtekk struts and when I go over a bump I hear a noise on the rear struts. When I raise the psi on the rear the noise I hear when going over bumps goes away but when I lower the psi the clunk returns. How can I fix this? Thanks

    Can I ask a question? I am building a sports car, 50's look from scratch. I don't want a tank and a pump, and so much complication, could I use air springs with a schrader valve, and simply pressurise to how I want it and done? It seems a perfect idea. If not its a case of weighing each corner and purchasing coil springs to suit.

    • @bagriders

      In fact all OEMs, Audi, Rover, Mercedes, BMW, Tesla, even ambulances, will all run a height sensor rather than rely on pressure.

    When i first got bags the company Vera just released their setup, in like 2017ish. Truhart air struts look just like these in the video, the management i had was pressure based with the front two lines connected to eachother and same for the rears. Eventually got 4 corners to be on individual pressure but understood then that the amount of psi had nothing to do with height. Then upgraded again with their height sensors and they look like some universal tie rods, and during heavy rain one would stop responding. Eventually i had a different shop install airlift 3H management combined with the Truhart airstruts i already had, never had any issues at all since, I wish i understood everything sooner before the install. My first bag went bad a couple months ago after 7 long years of wear and tear, its quite the effort to replace the sleeve but time and patience pays off. Not sure if you guys have a video on replacing sleeve bags, i recall having a hard time finding a clear video on demonstrating the process, if you havent it would be a nice suggestion to help anyone who doesn't have an idea in the future

    I have a 2006 mustang GT and I have Maxpeeding rods coilovers, but they ride rough if I put bags one them will it soften up the ride? And also how low will I be able to if I’m aired out fully?

    • @bagriders
      @bagriders Месяц назад

      It really depends on the condition of your Maxpeeding Rods, that brand isn't known for longevity - this has been reviewed by a few YT channels. It might make sense to pickup a set of new coilovers when starting your air ride journey, or better still, save up for true air struts.

    Hey man! Quick question, if we drain the tank from the water traps, do we need to directly drain the tank as well ? My installer made a setup where the valve is placed in the middle of the tank so I can only drain the half of it from there. Or I did it in a wrong way? That said, while pressing the water traps, it drained the whole tank. The pressure was near 0 but I dis not press till the end. Does it work to drain the whole tank from there once every 2 weeks without touching at the tank itself ?

    • @bagriders
      @bagriders Месяц назад

      For draining the tank, every tank should have one port located at the very bottom. Does your configuration not have that?

    • @RomeoWarden
      @RomeoWarden Месяц назад

      @@bagriders No unfortunately it does not. My installer did not install anything to be able to drain the tank. He told me that draining it every 6 months was sufficient thanks to the water trap. Which means that every 6 months I have to go to his garage for the maintenance (he also checks the overall state of the whole setup in order to correct issues like potential leaks). But it would be easier to drain it myself, I only need to add a valve under the tank for that. I noticed that it was missing when I wanted to drain the tank the other day. That said, I almost fully drained the water trap thanks to you and there was quiet a lot of water ! Draining the water trap kinda emptied the tank as well since it only had 2 bars left after. And as I wrote earlier, I did not fully drained it. That is why I asked if draining the water trap was sufficient because it seems that it drained the whole tank as well ?

    • @bagriders
      @bagriders Месяц назад

      @@RomeoWarden It's good that the trap is working, but at the end of the day, you need to drain the tank too. Even with the pressure escaping through the trap, gravity will keep the water under the air. If you are able, just remove the tank yourself and drain it through any port. You can use any plug as the "drain location" it doesn't really require a special fitting or Schrader. Just reduce the pressure before you start using your water trap.

    • @RomeoWarden
      @RomeoWarden Месяц назад

      @@bagriders Ok thanks for the informations ! I take notes for the water trap, drain it after reducing the pressure in the tank. To drain the tank yes, the installer has to remove it, every 6 months. But it’s annoying, I will ask him to install the accessory under the tank so I can drain it myself whenever I need to.
